Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students know advanced theory of automatic control and process control, are able to work with multi-variable systems. Students can design control of heat exchangers, distillation columns, chemical reactors and other processes of chemical technology.
 
Prerequisites and co-requisites: none
 
Course contents:
Adaptive control (heuristic, self-tuning, MRAC)
Multivariable control (RGA analysis, decoupling control, MPC)
Process control (heat exchangers, distillation columns, chemical reactors, combustion, waste-water treatment plants)
