Learning outcomes of the course unit:
This course is designed to familiarize students with printing and packaging materials -- their chemistry, composition, production, grades and properties. Content is oriented on printing paper, plastic film packaging materials and adhesives.
 
Course contents:
Printing papers -- production, grades, properties and testing methods. Plastic film packaging materials -- types, chemistry, production, properties and testing methods. Printing inks -- composition, pigments, vanishes, grades, properties. Adhesives in printing and packaging
