Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To provide basic knowledge on theoretical and applied photochemistry, basic photochemical reactions, photochemical reactions in imaging systems, photodegradation and photostabilization of materials and environmental aspects of photochemical processes
Course contents:
Basic knowledge on chemical consequences of interaction light and mater. Formation and properties of electronic excited states. Kinetic of photochemical processes. Basic photochemical reactions. Photochemical reactions in imaging systems. Polymer light sensitive systems. Photopolymerization. Applications of polymer light sensitive systems. Photodegradation and photostabilization of materials. Selected photochemical processes in living organisms and nature
