Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Provide students with an overview of the financial market, its components and explain the basic concepts of corporate finance, corporate financing. The course provides knowledge of the capital and money markets, the principles of its functioning as well as an overview of securities and trading them. Lets get a basic understanding of financial management enterprise management conditions specified in the legislation, the payments to financial institutions and other businesses.

Definition of financial market and its components.
Money market, money market securities.
Capital market, capital market securities.
Stock Exchange and its operations.
Intermediaries in the financial market.
Banking systems in Slovak republic.
Credit sources.
How to Invest - return, risk, insurance.
Environmental and security risks.
The importance of money and finance company.
Management of corporate finance.
International financial market.
Offshore centers and their importance to the functioning of the financial market.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Object of the financial market and corporate finance is implemented through 13 lectures and 13 seminars. Students use online textbook in which fill specific examples.
