Assesment methods:
For the successful completion of the course, it is necessary to obtain at least 56% of the total rating. Success criteria (percentage expression of the results in the evaluation of the course) are defined according to the study regulations of the Slovak University of Technology as follows: A (92-100%), B (83-91%), C (74-82%), D (65-73%), E (56 - 64%), FX (0 - 55%)
For completion of the course, the student should obtain in the interim evaluation maximum 20%, which are counted into the outcome of the overall rating.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will obtain knowledge about models of career management, approaches to talent management, methods of planning and managing employees´ career and talent management searching, creation of succession plans. He knows the trends in the development of employees, in methods and systems of the development of employees. Student is able to determine and use appropriate methods and tools for determining career path of employees, creation of career plans, succession management. He can apply gained knowledge for the creation of development plans of employees, for identifying development needs of employees and for evaluating the effectiveness of training and development of employees.

Disclosure of the importance of career management - definitions
Career management process
Methods of career planning, career development plans and their implementation
Career management process - stages of career management
Succession – creation of succession plans and methods of selection of personnel reserves
Talent management - search and inclusion talents into the training programs
Approaches to the development and education of employees
The process of employees training - methods and relations with state institutions
Identification of training needs and employees development - procedures and methods
Preparation and planning educational programmes
The implementation phase of education and employees development - methods of participatory learning and development of competencies
Forms of the development of employees competencies
Methods of assessing the effectiveness of training and employees development and monitoring costs
