Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The students should get acknowledged with the principles of mutual transformations of various forms of energy. These transformations obey exact laws of nature, which are formulated in the second law of thermodynamics; the efficiency of the transformations having its limits.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods: The condition for obtaining the credit is the presence in seminars. The exam is in the form of written test; in order to pass the exam, student has to acquire at least 56 % points.
