Course contents:
1.Fundamentals of technical mechanics. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Force and its effects. Types of forces. The definitions and laws of statics. Force, torque and their components in the plane and in the space. Force systems - effects - substitution and equilibrium. Mass center of discrete and continuous systems.
Pappus-Guldin theorems.

2.Statics of mass particles and the rigid mass body in the plane. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Static certainty of mechanical systems. Constraints and constraining dependencies. Equilibrium of a particle in the plane. Equilibrium of rigid bodies in the plane - the analytical solution.

3.Structural analysis of flexible bodies. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Fundamental methods of loading - tension, bending, shear and torsion. The internal force effects. The concept of stress and strain. Relative and total deformation, diagram tensile test-Hooke law, allowable stress conditions. Cross-sectional characteristics. Hypotheses strength. Safety limits.

4.Statics of multibody systems. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Equilibrium of multibody systems -- analytical solutions. Trusses - methods for solution - method of joints and method of cutting - analytically).

5.Passive resistance. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Friction - friction force. Friction in the axial and radial bearings. Belt friction. Rolling resistance.Static bodies and their systems with passive resistance.

6.Kinematics of particles. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Motion of point - trajectory, velocity, acceleration. Trihedron of spatial curves. Normal and tangential acceleration.

7.Kinematics of rigid body. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Translation, rotation and general plane motion - fundamental kinematic quantities. Instantaneous rotation center of the body. The center of curvature of the track point of the body.

8.Kinematics of multibody systems. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Absolute and relative motion - kinematical quantities. Mechanisms - analytical solution of planar mechanisms.

9.Dynamics of particles. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Fundamental roles of dynamics. Equations of motion. Theorems for change in the dynamics of a particle.

10.Dynamics of rigid bodies. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Inertia and deviation moments Equations of motion - translation, rotation and general motion of the rigid body.

11.Multibody system dynamics. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Mechanical systems and methods of dynamic analysis -- free bodies diagrams and method of reduction of mass and forces parameters.

12.Linear theory of vibration - SDOF I. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Vibration of SDOF system - free vibration, undamped and damped.

13.Linear theory of vibration - SDOF II. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Vibration of SDOF system -- forced vibration, undamped and damped, resonance, amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics
