Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The goal is to to expand students knowledge of the hazardous substances, properties and monitoring their activity on the environment, transport and storage and disposal of the consequences of exposure to these substances. Students should use this knowledge in assessing the hazards of such substances and the eventual disposal of such substances.

3. Transport of hazardous substances
4. Storage of Hazardous Substances
5. Transport and storage of waste
6. Fire extinguishing agents and
7. Decontamination
8. Personal protective equipment
9. Spontaneous combustion
10.Toxicity and hazardous substances. first Aid
11.Danger chemical reactions. Explosive and flammability
12.Accidents with hazardous substances, the calculations
13.Significant hazardous substances

Content of the exercise:
1. Safety and health at work in a chemical laboratory
2. Physical properties of hazardous substances
3. Acidity of environment (acid-base properties of hazardous substances)
4. Gases and explosives (reactivity hazardous substances)
5. Flammable and self-inflammable substances (oxidation-reducing properties of hazardous substances)
6. Bioavailability of substances (biological properties of hazardous substances)
7. Laboratory training
