|University:||Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava|
Course unit code:
Course unit title:
Mode of delivery, planned learning activities and teaching methods:
|Landscaping and Landscape Planning - master (semi-compulsory), 2. semester|
|Level of study:||2.|
|Prerequisites for registration:||none|
During the semester project shall be submitted that is rated. The final grade is generated with the following weights: 20% - project, 80% - exam.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
In this course, students will gain basic knowledge about the techniques of 3D modeling and spatial visualization. The course is focused on the spatial implementation of projects in the field of landscape planning, namely the creation of a static scene as well as animation. Knowledge gained form the basis for the current requirements in the field of landscape creation but also landscape design in the form of visualization of the 3D model. The student will be able to create a 3D model in software Rhinoceros and 3D Max with subsequent vizualization.
|1.-2. week: learn the basic principles of modeling in Rhinoceros 3D software.
3.-4. week: advanced modeling techniques.
5.-6. week: Introduction to 3D MAX.
6.-8. week: materials application in the 3D scene.
8.-10. week: Lighting of 3D scene settings.
11.-13. week: Principles of rendering and animation.
