Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Studio focused on the solution of architectural problem in a specific site in the context of urban public space. The aim of the studio is to make a close link between student works with the current problems of practice in real surroundings. The scope of work can be also to document the alternative and experimental forms of building with detailed solution of civic buildings.
Prerequisites and co-requisites: passed Design Studio II
Course contents:
1.The subject of solutiotn is an civil building of selected typologies (allowance 0/8)

c.Public Communication Center
d.Science Center
e.Contemporary Art Center
f.Leisure Center

2.Close link between student works and the current problems of design of civic buildings, also documenting of alternative and experimental forms and their detailed solution (allowance 0/8)
a.The studio works can have the ambition to be an architectural experiment.
b.In the design the use of new (and also experimental) materials and technologies is expected.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods: studio, reviews (control work in progress), final defense of studio work
Assesment methods and criteria: Continuous assessment during the semester-checks the inventory (reviews). Final evaluation after submitting studio work in the scope and content according to the assignment. Evaluation of the results is based on submissions proposal work and discuss before the Commission. The result is determined by the form of classified credit.
