Assesment methods:
Participation: min. 10 attendances, allowed 3 justifiable absences
The subject of the subject is the preparation of 2 assignments:
Entry No. 1, the fifth week semester is max. 40 points out of total rating:
modeling a complex object (work with objects and surfaces penetration, fluency of penetrations)

Entry No. 2, Submitting the Final Entry in the Credit Week, is max. 60 points of total rating:
3D visualization (work with visualization, mapping of materials and textures, preparation of scenes such as lights, cameras.)
Entries will be submitted in the form of a digital output and a printout, A4 format (description of the print: above the lower margin will be placed a listing containing (text in it the minimum text size 11): Name of the assignment, name of the student, name of the guarantor, pedagogue name, semester, academic year, Institute of Design, FA STU in Bratislava, faculty logo)
To obtain credits, you must meet all the conditions and get min. 56% points in the total sum of deductible items. The final grade is according to the classification scale of the study program FA STU.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Mastering complex work with 3D modeling of objects and visualization. Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros) and V_Ray plug-in.

- Advanced modeling of complex objects
- Objects and their transformations
- Curve rotation
- Drawing objects from curves and surfaces
- Joining surfaces
- Point-level adjustments
- Continuous transitions between surfaces and objects
- Creating 3D curves
- Image rendering - reverse engineering
- Application of curves to the desktop
- Drawings of objects
- V_Ray for Rhino Visualization, Various Techniques and Enhancements
- The fidelity of materials and textures
- Reflection and transparency
- Working with cameras
- Light conditions
- Liquid objects, glass and other materials
