Assesment methods:
Subject evaluation consists of project throughout the semester. The project is rated by maximum of 50 points (student has to gain at least 25 points from each part), maximum of 100 points all together. The limit for final grade „A” is minimum of 92 points, limit for final grade „B” is at least 83 points. Minimum limit for final grade „C” is 74 points, 65 points for „D” and 56 points for „E” respectively.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After successful completion, students will gain knowledge and skills in:
- theory or digital control systems basic principles and methods
- determination of appropriate control structure for a given linear model
- controllers design for linear systems with regards to the suitable structure determination
- performance analysis of digital controllers
- utilization of simulation environment for discrete-data control systems principles in Matlab-Simulink

2. Conversion of continuous-time transfer functions to their discrete-time equivalents
3. Stability of discrete-data systems
4. Digital Implementation of the PID Controller
5. Deadbead controller
6. Direct synthesis method
7. Pole placement method
8. Inverse Z-transform
9. Discrete state equations
10.Algebraic control theory
