Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The subject Hydraulic machines and devices allow students to get the complex view on hydraulic machines according to the type of model of its optimal usage. In the domain of fluid power machines and equipment, the student gets skills about the construction and about possibilities of usage of these machines in energetic and another devices. In the domain of hydrodynamic machines, the student gets skills about the consturction, division according to the usage and real application in the praxis.
 
Course contents:
The subject Hydraulic machines and devices allow students to get the complex view on hydraulic machines according to the type of model of its optimal usage. In the domain of fluid power machines and equipment, the student gets skills about the construction and about possibilities of usage of these machines in energetic and another devices. In the domain of hydrodynamic machines, the student gets skills about the consturction, division according to the usage and real application in the praxis.

Course methods:
• The division on hydraulic machines, the principle of working cycle. The high-speed coefficient of hydraulic machines
• The piston fluid power machines: axial fluid power machines, radial fluid power machines. Teeth fluid power machines, lamel fluid power machines, screw fluid power machines, linear hydro-engines. The driving elements of hydraulic circuits.
• The basic types of hydrodynamic pumps according to the high speed coefficient. Rotor and modification of its parameters.
• The basic characteristic of pumps and its changes. The influence of change of fluid viscosity- total characteristic. The construction and construction elements of hydrodynamic pumps. Typification of hydrodynamics pumps, zone diagram.
• The basic types of turbines and its division according to the high-speed coefficient, universal and working characteristic of turbine. The main parameters in designing of turbines, the selection of type of turbine according to the down-grade. The constuction of turbines, low-pressure turbines, mid-pressure turbines, high-pressure turbines. Small water turbines and microturbines
