Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim of the course unit is to initiate advanced skills development of planning/designing of mitigation and compensation measures in the frame of planning and designing of the infrastructure works, socio-economic opportunities and landscaping.

Course contents:
The subject of studio work is to elaborate the concrete spatial planning task from the planning practice in the form of a feasibility study, in relation to the selected thematic block of the module that will include:
 Analysis of the state of the art and definition of the problem
 Study of optional urban plans, based on the references and experience.
 Proposal of the concept of the design.
 Assessment of the proposal of the concept - feasibility study.
 Elaboration of the final design.
 Presentation of the design and explanation of the proposal.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods: The subject of studio work is to elaborate the concrete spatial planning task from the basic theoretical inputs, through the planning practice in the form of a feasibility study, in relation to the selected thematic block of the module that will include:
 Analysis of the state of the art and definition of the problem
 Study of optional urban plans, based on the references and experience.
 Proposal of the concept of the design.
 Assessment of the proposal of the concept - feasibility study.
 Elaboration of the final design.
 Presentation of the design and explanation of the proposal.
 
Assesment methods and criteria: Final review of the studio project. Final product that is graded is an elaborated design project (project report and drawings).
 
Language of instruction: Slovak, English, German
 
Work placement(s): There is no compulsory work placement in the course unit.
