Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will acquire a general overview of the phenomena encountered in daily life and the gradual abstraction takes the general categories needed to understand the economic system. Familiar with the principles and structure of functioning of the national economy in global economy.
Prerequisites and co-requisites: none
Course contents:
Objects of economics and methods used in economics.
Basic preconditions for economy. Economy and macroeconomic framework.
Market, market mechanism and its functioning. The market demand and supply. Law of falling demand.
The economic behavior of the consumer.
Theory of production. Production functions.
The behavior of enterprises.
Costs, revenue and profit.
