Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Student will acquire knowledge, inevitable for the marketing plan of the region. This knowledge will support the qualified decisions in investment activities which are important for economically and spatialy justified location of the new infrastructure and buildings.

Course contents:

Regional policy in Slovak republic and European Union
Aim of the villages and cities in the development of the area. City supply and demand.
Acquiring of the economical activities to chosen real territory through the methods of territorial marketing.
External and internal diagnostics of the chosen territories.
SWOT analyses and assessment of the strategic lines of the development of territory.
Competition, co-operation of cities and science-technological parks.
