It is necessary to acquire at least 10 points to be granted by specified number of credits.)|

|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|To obtain the methodological skills and habits essential for independent and team scientific work. To learn how to write contributions for scientific journals and international conferences. To reach original scientific results acceptable within appropriate international scientific community.|
|• Analysis of current state of the specified research field based on scientific literature background research and other resources.
• Individual and team work on research tasks.
• Preparing continuous reports concerned the obtained results.
• Work on documentation concerned the proposed new projects and grants.
• Preparing contributions for scientific journals and international conferences, active presentation at the conference.

|Language of instruction:||slovak or english|
|Module Scientific work defines minimal demands on the outputs. In common, scientific work expects various outputs (student scientific conference participation, contributions in local journals and conferences, national and international respected outputs). Student is able to obtain summarily 40 credits for scientific work. Minimal conditions for fulfilment the given goals of the subject are in „Other conditions for graduation“, that are the part of the recommended study plan (at least two outputs – category B, one otuput – category A). Student needs to obtain credits for Scientific work IV till the PhD thesis submission. All the supervisors are also the teachers; they are not listed here in detail.|
