Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Lectures: theoretical introduction
Exercises: computations of thermodynamic properties, phase equilibria and kinetics of processes in materials systems using Thermo-Calc and Dictra software
Assesment methods and criteria: Preliminary evaluation: 5 preliminary assignments (maximum 30%), complex assignment (20%)

Final evaluation: exam (maximum 50%). Final evaluation is obtained by summing the percents from preliminary evaluation and from exam. To obtain the degree A at least 92% is needed, to obtain the degree B at least 83% is needed, to obtain the degree C at least 74% is needed, to obtain the degree D at least 65% is needed, to obtain the degree E at least 56% is needed.
Language of instruction: Slovak, English
Work placement(s): There is no compulsory work placement in the course unit.
