Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Knowledge of structure, properties and processing of the metal materials. Knowledge of alloys and composite materials on the metal basis.
Course contents:
Knowledge of metals and alloys structure, defects in the crystal structure, crystallization of the pure metals and alloys, influence of the materials structure on their properties, testing of the metal materials, chosen technologies of the metals and alloys processing. Fundamentals of preparation and properties of the composite materials with the metal matrix.
