Assesment methods:
On exercises there will be worked out 2 individual program assignments oriented on the 3D modeling. The solutions will be evaluated continuously, immediately after handing term published in time schedule. For each on time handed assignment there will be possibility to gain max. 20 points. The resulting number of points will be calculated as the average value from both assignments. For passing the exam it is necessary to hand in assignment (necessary condition). Quota of exercises on overall course evaluation is 40 % (points). The end course exam will be written in the form of computer test and the quota is 60% (points). The student can gain max. 100 points.
Overall evaluation: A 92-100%, B 83-91%, C 74-82%, D 65-73%, E 56-64%, FX less as 56%.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will gain basic knowledge about the field of 3D Computer Graphics, 3D geometric transformations and rendering, solid modeling and graphics APIs. He will understand the basic principles and algorithms used in 3D computer graphics. He will get an overview about current engineering graphics systems and APIs. The student gains basic skills for using and programming of selected CAD system and graphics API under OS Windows.
