Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Graduate student is familiar with basic knowledge about corrosion processes and corrosion protection, technology of metal deposition and surface coating.
 
Prerequisites and co-requisites: none
 
Course contents:
Metal corrosion, type of corrosive attack, mechanism of corrosion, corrosion protection, selected technologies of surface treatment, coating material, characteristic of pigments and additives, destruction and stability of polymers.
