Science and industry course culminates in an exam. The notation is defined by the currently valid study regulations at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student acquires knowledge of a chronological view of the current development of the industry in the production of fuel, energy, food production, consumer chemicals, metals and plastics, biotechnology, pharmacy and environmental protection. The students broaden their knowledge of the most important figures suggested by the breakthrough technology of chemical and industrial production.
 
Course contents:
Industrial Revolution. Applied Chemistry. Production of fuels and energy. Production and food processing. Recycling technologies. Biodegradable chemical products. Green chemistry and green technologies.
