Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Proofing the student's ability to manage the individual study of a selected problem and its processing into the compact monothematic unit. Extension of students' knowledge in the area of specialized subjects of the study program. Students work under the supervision of a final thesis supervisor. The result is a monothematic thesis, which is reviewed by an expert and defended in front of the commission by a student
 
Prerequisites and co-requisites: passed Surveying 3 and passed Processing and Analysis of Measurements 2 and passed Mathematics 3 and passed Engineering Surveying 1
 
Course contents:
Problem formulation, determination of the solution range (final thesis assignment).
Delimination of the variety of information sources and processes for their analysis. Research and its analysis.
Experimental measurement practice, its analysis.
Contents and structure of final thesis definition, independent work of a student.
Defense of a final thesis in front of the commission.
