Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim of this subject is to give to students the backgrounds of modern mathematical methods required for the research in engineering domains and in practical tasks, depending on the orientation of their PhD theses. Students will get the skill in modelling the engineering problems by means of numerical, aggregational and probabilistic-statistical methods.
 
Course contents:
- modern numerical methods for solving different types of differential equations, ANSYS
- aggregation functions, fitting of aggregation functions to real data
- modern probabilistic-statistical methods, statistical softwares
