|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Students will learn basic methods of dynamic programming and Bellman principle of optimality. They will be able to handle stochastic optimization problems in real life applications.|
|Prerequisites and co-requisites:||none|
|• Classification of optimization problems.
• Continuous and discrete optimization.
• Dynamic programming and applications, Belmann principle of optimality.
• Stochastic optimization - simulated annealing.
