|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|The subject provides knowledge in the field of different forecasting methods from universal methods such as brainstorming, the panel of experts through structural methods, procedural methods to exact mathematical-statistical methods, trend extrapolation, ARIMA models and artificial intelligence systems. Students gain a comprehensive view on the issue of modeling and forecasting of economic variables.|
|Introduction to forecasting methods.
Universal methods - brainstorming, the panel of experts, participatory methods.
Structural methods - cross-interaction, system approach, future wheel.
Procedural methods - time series analysis, trend extrapolation.
The Delphi method.
Simulations, games and artificial intelligence.
Artificial neural networks.
