Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will gain knowledge of the richness and diversity of philosophical thinking, and on that basis can develop self creative, inventive, critical and system thinking with an emphasis on interdisciplinarity, ethics, aesthetics, humanism and responsibility. Also will be able to cultivate arguing and to articulate philosophical questions, and most importantly, to learn how to address them in life and in professional practice in the current knowledge society.
Course contents:
Philosophy as a science and system. Theoretical and practical philosophy.
European and Asian tradition of philosophical thinking and their specifications.
Philosophy of science and technology. Praxeology and philosophy of designing and planning.
Philosophy of mind and consciousness, logic and language.
Philosophical anthropology.
Philosophy and culture. Aesthetics in the system of philosophical sciences.
Social and political philosophy.
Philosophy of religion.
Ethics in the Information Society
Environmental philosophy. Responsibility of technological thinking and decision-making.
