Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To offer students knowledge about globalization process with accent from politology approach like that, to help them orientate oneself in the world and home problems development and falling in the social praxis after finish their studies.
 
Course contents:
•Globalization of the world's development -- regular evolution process of humane civilizations.
•Characteristics of contemporary development in the world, its positives and crisis phenomena in the world's community documents -- especially Millenniums summit in 2000 year.
•Globalization, civilization and culture -- mutual connections.
•Science and technology development in globalization process -- expectations and possibilities.
•Social and environmental connections and the consequences of the globalization process.
•Economic growth, liberal market and contemporary globalization process.
•Sustainable development -- starting point from contemporary environmental crises.
•Consumerism and extremely individualism -- complication for solution of civilization crisis phenomenon.
•Tasks and possibilities of politics at civilization problems solution -- new phenomena in politics sphere.
•Political institutions, especially state, in the globalization process.
•Political parties in the globalization process.
•Citizen society in the globalization process.
•Phenomenon of terrorism in the globalization process.
