Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will acquire additional knowledge and information of selected current issues in the field of theory, methodology and design of urban planning documentation. Moreover students deal with the problems of spatial and procedural aspects of urban planning.

Main topics of lectures:
Architect and territory;
Urban stability and ethics;
The regional settlement structure;
Rural settlements;
Architect practicing the profession of Urban Designer;
Rate and methodology of the urban regulation.

Practical lessons:
The project aimed at selected topic.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:
Assesment methods and criteria:
Written test has a max. 50 points, seminar paper max. 50 points. To obtain the rating A should be obtained in the sum of at least 92 points; on the valuations B at least 83 points , on the valuations C at least 74 points, on the valuations D at least 65 points, on the valuations E at least 56 points E. Credit will be granted, a student of some written verification obtained less than 55 points.
