Course contents:
ME for vacuum and for the matter space with linear, nonlinear, dispersive and anisotropic properties. Analytical solution of the ME using wave equations for the field vectors and using the electrodynamical potentials. Description and analysis of the electromagnetic waves propagation in waveguides - in rectangular metalic waveguide, in dielectric planar or fiber waveguide. Classification, description and analysis of the numerical methods for the solution of the boundary problems in electromagnetic field. The method of finite difference in time-domain (FDTD), finite element method (FEM). Speciac cases of the knowledge applications in the field of applied magnetism and fiber optics.
