|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|The aim of this subject is to extend the basic knowledge of mechatronics from nonliving bodies to living bodies, the application of basic mechatronical principles to the medicine.|

|- Fundamentals of anatomy, terminology, standard human.
- Statics of human body.
- Motion of human body, kinematics, Motion apparatus of human.
- Clinical gait analysis.
- Fundamentals of orthopedics and orthotics.
- Artificial mechanical systems of lower extremity.
- Artificial mechanical systems of upper extremity.
- Systems of energy harvesting with the application to medicine.

|Planned learning activities and teaching methods:||The subject consists of theoretical lectures and practical labs.|
|Assesment methods and criteria:||The student will obtain credits if he passes the exam successfully max. 55 points.The final evaluation depends on the test result and the final exam. The evaluation is following:|
A 100 - 91 points, B 90 - 81 points, C 80 - 71 points, D 70 -61 points, E 60 - 50 points.
