|Obtaining at least 15 points (credits) for publication and other activities. Point awarding is done with respect to Criteria for assessment of research, development, artistic and other creative activities in scope of complex accreditation of universities in research.|

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
|Acquisition of methodological experience and habits necessary for individual and team research work. Obtaining the ability to publish in scientific journals and international conferences. Obtaining novel research results which get accepted by the international research community.|
|1. Analysis of state of the art based on related work review, with relevance to PhD study goals.
2. Fulfillment of research tasks on individual basis or within a research team. Progress report preparation on obtained research results.
3. Activity related to preparation of project proposals.
4. Publishing on research journals and international research conferences, and active presentation of obtained results.
