Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Acquiring methodological experience and habits necessary for individual and team research work.
Learning the capability to publish in scientific journals and at international conferences.
Doing creative research work to obtain original research results acceptable by international scientific community working in relevant research field.
Prerequisites and co-requisites: none
Course contents:
• Carrying out the analysis of the state-of-the-art in the study field using scientific literature recherche and other sources related to the topic of PhD thesis.
• Fulfilling research tasks individually and in cooperation with the research team.
• Working out current reports on the results obtained.
• Working on other project documentation and if it is possible also on the documentation which will be submitted by research team to obtain grants for projects and grant tasks.
• Publishing in scientific journals and international scientific conferences and active presentation of the obtained results.

Učebnice a monografie, časopisy a iné zdroje, ktorých výber je konzultovaný so zodpovedným vedúcim riešiteľom vedeckovýskumnej úlohy a tiež so školiteľom.

Assesment methods and criteria: Subject The scientific work defines the minimum requirements for outputs. Research typically requires a variety of outcomes (participation in the student's scientific conference, local conferences and journals, national and internationally recognized outputs). Overall, the student has to obtain 40 credits for scientific work. Minimum requirements to meet the objectives of the subject are set by "Other Eligible End-of-Study Conditions" that are part of the recommended study plan (achievement of at least two scientific outputs registered in Category B or at least one Scientific Output in Category A). Credits for subjects Scientific work must be completed by submitting the PhD dissertation
