Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student gain the knowledge of modern analytical separation methods - gas, liquid and supercritical fluid chromatography, and electroseparation methods and their twodimensional and hyphenated techniques with spectrometric methods.
 
Course contents:
The methods of chromatography, the role, the choice and optimisation of column properties in gas, liquid and supercritical fluid chromatography, modern instrumentation, conditions of analysis and their optimisation. Advanced signal processing and signal evaluation from column techniques. Hyphenation to spectrometry techniques, mainly mass spectrometry. Electromigration separation methods. Sample preparation with help of separation techniques.
