Assesment methods:
Students solve 10 tasks during the term. Each task is dedicated to one toolbox. Task is solved on the practice and after practice evaluated (each task for maximum 4 points). Home study is only for practice preparation. Students could gain 40 points during the term (10 x 4 points).
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Course Modeling and Simulation Using Matlab aim to learn students about possibilities of the package Matlab/Simulink. Students will learn elementary mathematical operations, basics of 2D and 3D graphics. Next modeling of the continuous, discrete and event-driven systems will be learned. Dynamic system will be vizualized by virtual reality in 3D space. Topics like fuzzy logic, neural networks and system identification will be mentioned also. Lectures are prepared for each topic and students will learn about specialized libraries (toolboxes).
