Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Gain knowledge of the technical means of modern control systems. Learn the principles of selection and use of technical means of control systems. Learn procedures and methods of the draft technical security management systems. Gain practical experience in programming and use of technical means of control systems, to acquire knowledge about modern approaches to automation management systems based on digital circuits and microprocessors.
Course contents:
Establishment, characterization and development of automation technology. Classification of technical means of automatic control. Signal as a means of information transfer. Signal transmission. Static and dynamic properties of automatic control equipment. Reliability of technical means. Members of the transformation and processing of information. Controllers, the dynamic characteristics of continuous, discrete and digital controllers. Algorithms of digital integrators and regulators. The filter member and an isolated signal. Amplifiers and signal shaping. Passive, active and digital filters, transfer functions of filters. Basic elements of logic circuits. Table probability logic elements. Logical functions and their minimization. Karnaugh map. Laws of Boolean algebra. Combinational and sequential circuits. Management of objects based on programmable logic controllers. Encoding and decoding. Resources management in real time. Microcomputers, microcomputer architecture. Description of the IBM system bus. Description of signals during read and write to the system bus. Addressing the devices connected to the system bus IBM PC. Intel Parallel port, a description of the modes. Example of using the parallel port. Interface, serial interface RS-232, RS-422, 485th The parallel interface IEEE-488 (GPIB). A / D converters and D / A. Odmeriavacie systems, collecting and processing information. Errors resulting from the measurements. Sensor, the sensor as a member to get information. Thermoelectric sensors, Thermoresistors, temperature control, an example of extreme temperature control in furnaces. Actuators and motors, drives performance analysis, design of the controller. Devices for indication. Software for management and monitoring.
