Learning outcomes of the course unit:
to gain knowledge of the Law System in the Slovak Republic, validity and effect of normative acts with the aim of enhancing legal awareness especially in the area of ​​private law and public law.
 
Course contents:
1. basics of constitutional law, human rights and fundamental freedoms, the structure of state bodies,
2. the nature and substance of civil law, legal actions, civil relations, moral rights, prescription, estoppage, usucaption,
3. family law - marriage, parenting, adoption, foster care, guardianship and custody, alimony, property lazádržnéw - ownership, possession, easements, liens, inheritance law - prerequisites inheritance, disinheritance, descent of intestacy, testamentary succession,
4. civil proceedings, the parties, the court and its requirements, preparation of legal proceedings, the courts and their jurisdiction, judgments, remedies, validity and enforceability, enforcement of judicial decisions
5. Business Law - Purpose, classification, commercial register, trade business, trade license obligations of the entrepreneur, the role of government in the trade business, trade register, the sanctions for breach of the Trade Act,
6. labour law - employee and employer, employment, employment contract, termination of employment, working time and rest time, wages and wage compensation, obstacles to work, corporate social policy,
7. administrative law - public administration, administrative proceedings, offenses, administrative offenses, the validity and enforceability of administrative decisions, criminal law - principles, criminal act,sanctions, criminal procedure and its phases
8. Financial Law - Tax system, direct taxes, indirect taxes, banking, insurance, customs, financial control
