Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student acquires the ability to independently solve the scientific problems of ecological and energy efficiency of buildings in terms of optimal use of alternative energy sources. He/She acquires the basics of the theory and the constructional design of buildings characterized by purposeful energy saving with the utilization of ecologically clean alternative sources. He/She understands the principles of development of the theory in justified system relation building - climate - energy. He/She acquires the overview of the modern software for prediction and calculation of energy consumption of buildings. He/She acquires the ability to design and quantify buildings in relation to the rational utilization of energy in the creation of ecological architectural environment.
Course contents:
•Modification of test reference year for the particular type - character of building with purposeful energy saving.
•Climate and energy building concept - the development of his creation.
•Optimalization process in the use of alternative energy sources in buildings - simulation programs
•Another trends of a new facade building technology - ecology and energy
•Development of physical theory of cavities and their quantification
•Simulation of aerodynamic problems of cavity (CFD)
•Simulation of aerodynamic problems of building with double-skin transparent facade (CFD)
•Double-skin transparent facades of buildings and energy
•Transparent hall, their physical regime and energy
•Modern trends in technical aspects of architecture, its environmental aspects and energy
