|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Extension of knowledge in the theory and application of advanced simulation methods of computer aided design buildings with a focus on energy efficiency and indoor environment quality. Thorough knowledge and skills of integrated and comprehensive evaluation and optimization problems of building physics, environmental engineering and of evaluation parameters of the indoor environment.|
| Principles of modeling and simulation, principles of model creation and their verification.
Global dynamic simulation of energy and indoor environment, methods, theoretical basics, criterial-and marginal conditions, examples of practical applications.
Computational fluid dynamics, methods, theoretical basics, criterial-and marginal conditions, examples of practical applications.
Simulations of global illuminance and luminance, methods, theoretical basics, criterial-and marginal conditions, examples of practical applications.
Other areas of computer simulations (acoustics, fire engineering ....) designed to promote a specific dissertation topic.
