Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will acquire knowledge in modern methods of 2D and 3D image analyses based on solving geometry driven nonlinear partial differential equations.
 
Course contents:
- Nonlinear diffusion filtering in image processing.
- Level-set methods in image filtering and segmentation.
- Lagrangian methods in image segmentation.
- Numerical methods in image processing.
