Prerequisites for registration: passed Studio of Buildings Design 1 (I1-AKA1)
Assesment methods:
During the semester - successfully completed deadline consultation, public presentation and defence of the project.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The students receive a practical experience in application the theoretical knowledge from architectural, technical and other disciplines. The point of view is to independently elaborate the complete project for a long-span public building, whereas a special attention will be given to the coordination of requirements of single building professions and the application of new building materials and innovative technologies in building design.
Course contents:
Elaboration the part of building project documentation for building permission, some parts of project will by elaborated at detailed level
•Elaboration of chosen building details
•Overall building physical analysis (energy efficiency, indoor comfort during summer period, ...)
•Physical analysis of the building envelope including the assessment of critical details with regard to minimum surface temperatures and creation of mould
• Dimensioning of the chosen basic elements of the carrying system of the building
• Project of the assigned technical equipment of the building
• Finishing of the project documentation
