Correctly made all the assignments, the classification is obtained.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Subject is oriented to detailed and concrete use of software applications enabling solving of bachelor thesis with concrete focus. Student will gain skill to use different software, to synthetize results of partial work and to generate overall project by their cumulation. Focus is on the solving of complex issue from water engineering field with usage of CAD systems, available spreadsheets, usage of databases and their processing. Main part of the work is in the form of detailed consultation with the teacher to achieve students own and conceptual work.
Course contents:
- Spreadsheet – use of database functions.
- Database processing, usage of function Pivot table.
- Mathematical modelling of water supply system.
- Mathematical modelling of sewer system.
- Mathematical modelling of channels and troughs.
- Basics of CFD modelling of water engineering constructions.
- Data synthesizing, results processing with use of spreadsheets.
- Completing of works on concrete problem.
