|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Students will obtain basic knowledge of function principles within the range of finder and height finder instruments. Enhanced attention is given to the stability of leveling instruments and to elimination of instrument errors. In addition, students will become familiar with the methods of spatial data acquisition and processing|
|Direct measurement of lengths - Summary impacts of errors and extreme deviations - Use of measuring lengths by measuring zones.
Indirect (trigonometric) measurement and determination of lengths. Determination of length by polygon pull. Precision analysis.
Optical methods of measuring lengths. The basic principle of twin and double-image dialers. Achieved accuracy and their use.
Parallax measurement of lengths. Analysis of accuracy of measured lengths. Using the parallax method.
Elevation foundations in the Slovak Republic.
Methods of height measurements and their accuracy.
The principle of leveling. Design principle of optical, digital laser leveling devices. Testing and rectification of leveling devices.
Measuring methods of geometric leveling. Basic types of leveling measurements. Sources of leveling errors.
Calculation of elevations and even heights. Leveling accuracy and precision assessment analysis.
Trigonometric leveling. Calculation of elevations and even heights. Precision analysis.
Point Point Field in SR. Building detailed geodetic points. Measuring network. Two-sided polygon pull. GNSS method.
Detailed tracking and processing methods.
Measurement of spatial coordinates - Tachymeter. Nipple, diagram and electronic tachymetry. Measuring network. Select detailed points. Codec collection of 3D data.
Making a purpose map and verifying its quality.
