Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students impart knowledge on various types of small water reservoirs, design principles, management and exploitation. Special attention is given to ponds for aquaculture.
 
Course contents:
 History, definition and purpose of small water reservoirs
 Survey work before the design of small water reservoirs
 Water supply for small water reservoirs, hydraulics and hydrology point of view
 Soil and geological conditions
 Reservoirs for aquaculture
 Irrigation reservoirs
 Spillways, monks and other special structures on small water reservoirs
