|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Students will obtain basic knowledge of function principles of geodetic instruments used in hydrostatic and barometric leveling. Enhanced attention is given to building up a detailed position point field. In addition, students will become familiar with the methods of spatial data acquisition and processing for area and volume determinations.|
|Building detailed geodetic points using the polygonal structure method. Aligning the coordinates by approximate method.
Centered back, ahead, free opinion, and Hansen's role. Analysis of the accuracy of individual methods. Documentation of point points and database.
Methods of building auxiliary metering points. Technology of measurement and processing.
Trigonometric measurement of elevation and height of objects. Analysis of accuracy of trigonometric measurement of object heights.
Hydrostatic leveling. Accuracy of hydrostatic leveling and its properties.
Barometric height determination. Accuracy of barometric height determination and its properties.
Focus and calculation of plots and plots. Calculation of originally measured quantities and co-ordinates. Planimetric determination of the area.
Focus and volume calculation. Accuracy of volume determination of individual objects.
Basic software used in geodesy.
Electronic measurement of lengths. Basic properties of electromagnetic waves. The influence of the environment on the propagation of electromagnetic waves.
Physical bases of electronic distrometers. The principle of measuring lengths (impulse method, Phase comparison method, frequency difference, and Väsälä method). Accuracy of length measurements.
Length correction and calibration of electronic distrometers. Physical, instrumental and mathematical repairs.
Measurement of lengths using acoustic waves. Accuracy of measured lengths.
