Prerequisites for registration: passed Studio Project I - Urban Design (52501_5I) and passed Studio Project II (52298_5I) and passed Studio Project III (52299_5I) or passed Studio Project I - Urban Design (2_AT1_AU) and passed Studio Project II (2_AT2_A) and passed Studio Project III (2_AT3_A)
 
Assesment methods:
The supervisor take care of the progress of the diploma project. Continuous checking is necessary due to verification of the author of the diploma thesis. A prerequisite for receiving the thesis and submitting it for defense is the presumption of the thesis supervisor that this is an original author's work of the diploma project.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
In the final thesis the student demonstrates the ability to comprehensively develop architectural designs and projects of buildings, their interiors and exteriors and creativity, and to solve problems from urban planning through architectural buildings to visual and technical details, including interiors and exteriors, coordinating aesthetic, constructional, economic, environmental, social and other construction requirements. The content of the final thesis may differs according to the nature of the relevant subject and the personality of master's thesis supervisor.
 
Course contents:
In the final thesis the student demonstrates the ability to comprehensively develop architectural designs and projects of buildings, their interiors and exteriors and creativity, and to solve problems from urban planning through architectural buildings to visual and technical details, including interiors and exteriors, coordinating aesthetic, structural, economic, environmental, social and other construction requirements. The content of the final thesis may differ according to the nature of the relevant subject and the personality of the master's thesis, which gives the supervisor the responsibility for a substantial part of the content of the diploma thesis. The diploma project is elaborated by students in 9 thematic studios: A1 - residential buildings, A2 - civic buildings, A3 - industrial and engineering buildings, A4 - interior and exhibition design, A5 - conservation and restoration of monumental objects and ensembles, A6 - experimental and ecologically conscious design, A7 - digital architecture, A8 - structural design, A9 - open studio of practicing architects .
