Prerequisites for registration: passed Fundamentals of Architectural Design I (1_ZAN1_AU)
 
Assesment methods:
Independent evaluation of the two tasks:
Design of a simple architectural object (Task NO. 1)
-share of 25% of the final mark
The principal assignment is focused on the development of architectural study of a small family house (Task NO. 2)
- Share of 75% of the final mark
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The basics of architectural design II.

The aim is simple and playful, but actual, sustained varying assignments cause students interest in creative independent work. The student is experiencing this for the first time, provoking appetite graphically shape your own ideas.
The student learns to put their ideas on paper and to think in three dimensions, appropriates graphical and modeling methods in architectural design.
 
Course contents:
Teaching is conducted in small studios with individual consultations. Solved assignments are aimed at acquiring basic skills and abilities in architectural design assignments.

Small architectural object with a simple layout program

Architectural study of a small family house

TYPOLOGICAL PREPARATION - literature review
Living in a family house - Essay

Task. 2 B /:
ROOM CONCEPT OF THE FAMILY HOUSE
Composition volumes
Selection and analysis of the land
Flow concept and installation of the family house on the parcel

Task. 2 C /:
Flow concept, construction, architecture of the family house
