Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will acquire basic knowledge of mechanics of a point mass, point mass system, rigid body, oscillations and fluids. He/she is able to apply the physical laws to solving of physical problems.
 
Course contents:
Elements of vector algebra. Mechanics of a point mass, point mass system and rigid body. Work and energy. Conservation laws and their applications. Oscillations. Hydrodynamics and hydrostatics.
