Assesment methods:
Evaluation is point sum from preliminary evaluation and final test. Student successfully undertake this subject if obtain at least 56% points and 12 points from each part of evaluation. Final appraisal: A (92-100%), B (83-91%), C (74-82%), D (65-73%), E (56-64%), FX (0-55%).
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student obtains a basic overview in the field of enterprise economics and management. He will be able to identify the market mechanism and the functioning of the company, the legal and economic conditions of the business, the economic goals of the business, the basic business processes and the business factors of production. The student will learn basic indicators of the business economy and the basic factors of profit making for the economic management of the company. He learns the basic elements of a business management system and the most important management principles, methods, tools and functions (decision making, planning, organizing, leadership and control).

Enterprise and entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship legislation conditions, enterprise and environment.
Enterprise processes charakteristics, enterprise production factors.
Economic goals of entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship ensuring by assets.
Management (essence and consequence), management functions.
Decision making as a management funkcion, decision making process, decision making methods.
Planning, planning process, setting goals.
Organizing as a management funkcion, company organization structures.
Leadership.
Motivation.
Communication.
Controlling as a management function.
