Assesment methods:
Rating for item consists of the sum of points obtained in the continuous evaluation and the exam. For continuous evaluation, the student may receive a maximum of 20% of the points (i 20 points, including 10 points from exams in the continuous evaluation and 10 points from semester work). To test a student can receive a maximum of 80% of the points (80 points). On successful completion of the course it is necessary to obtain at least 56% of the required points. Final evaluation: A (92-100%), B (83-91%), C (74-82%), D (65-73%), E (56-64%), FX (below 56%) .
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will acquire knowledge on the economic aspects of the operation of industrial companies in the various legal forms of business. He knows the life cycle of the companies and can explain the main processes in the company (supplies, production, sales). He knows the nature of the costs and the need to monitor costs of various aspects of the economic management of the company. The student understands the formation of calculations and pricing in industrial companies.
 
Course contents:
The nature business fundamentals and position of an enterprise in a market economy. Typology of enterprises.
Specialization, cooperation and concentration of industrial companies. Associations of companies. The Protection of competition. The life cycle of a company.
Long-term business assets - define the components of long-term assets, depreciation of long-term tangible and intangible assets, the use of fixed tangible assets.
Current business assets - gist, nutrient and turnover of current assets, indicators of the use of current assets, standardization of current assets.
Employees of the company - standardization of work and determine the needs of employees, the remuneration of employees, wage forms, labour productivity.
Supply - the nature, objectives and tasks of supply, inventory standardization, inventory costs, evidence of inventory in stock.
Production - classification of production from different perspectives, product range, technical preparation, organization of production, production capacity.
Sales - the nature and role of sales, sales policies.
The nature and breakdown of costs. Calculation system of industrial company.
Pricing policy and price formation in industrial company.
